The property
A small, family-run building on the hillside above Beau Belle, on the north-west coast of Mahé. Three apartments, managed by the family that owns them.
Where you'll be
Bel Ombre sits at the quiet end of Beau Vallon Bay, past the main stretch of beach. It's a working village rather than a resort strip: a shop, a couple of takeaways, fishing boats pulled up on the sand. Beau Vallon itself — the beach, the Wednesday market, the restaurants — is a short walk or a two-minute drive.
Victoria is about twenty minutes by car, and the airport roughly forty-five.
Getting around
Buses run along the coast road regularly and cheaply, and the stop is a couple of minutes from the door. Most guests hire a car for at least part of their stay, which we can arrange — tell us your dates and we'll organise it.
We can also arrange an airport transfer. Send us your flight number and we'll have a driver waiting.
What's provided
Every apartment has a full kitchen with a fridge, hob, kettle and cooking equipment, air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area, a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, and fresh linen and towels. Cots and extra beds are available on request.
Self-catering means you're free to cook, but there's a good shop within walking distance and plenty of places to eat around the bay.
